Shots fired at Skeeters Convenience Store   - 10/19/2006 8:07am
On Saturday, 10/14/2006 at approximately 04:15am, a person or persons unknown fired at least 8 shots into the store front of Skeeter?s Convenience Store at 3974 Upper River Road in the Somerville area. At least two of the shots passed through a window into the stores interior, which was occupied by the store owner. The store owner reported hearing a vehicle pull in, what sounded like a string of firecrackers going off, then a vehicle pull away. Falkville Area Church Burglaries   - 10/17/2005 4:32am
On the evening of July 31st August 1st of 2005, the Mt Nebo Baptist Church on Mt Nebo Road in Falkville; the Mountain View Missionary Church on Wilson Mountain Road, Falkville; The Hills Chapel Church in Falkville; and the New Hope North Missionary Church in Falkville were all the target of burglars. Similar methods of entry and the types of items stolen, combined with the time line of the offenses, lead investigators to believe that these crimes are related. Taken during the burglaries were various types of video and sound equipment. ATM THEFT FROM FLORETTE AREA SHELL STATION   - 10/17/2005 4:32am
On September 28th, 2005 between 9:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., a person or persons unknown entered the Brewer Grocery and Deli on Hwy 67 in the Florette area of Morgan County. They physically removed an ATM machine which was bolted to the floor and departed the area. Any persons having any information concerning this crime should contact Inv Terry Kelly at 351-4899.
